Comment and Questions on Unit's and Battle)

Sun Mar 19, 2006 5:10 pm

I've not noticed this mentioned, but I find the 'alt-tab' to the manual (if you have it up before you start the game) works wonderfully. The map stay's in the background and you can easily sift thru the manual. (btw, will the manual be automatically updated per patch download? Or will you annouce when the manual has been updated?) -Thanks!

Splitting Units: I can't seem to do it or at least do it simply, but I have a large stack of units with several commanders. I want to split them off in different directions. I do the control click on one group and send them on their way. Then I control click them again to deselect them and do it to the other group (sort of a pain if indeed I'm doing it correctly). This 'appears' not to work. I say appear's for I just tried it a few times and it seem to either leave one group behind or follows the same path.

This might be asking for too much, but it would be nice to have crossed sabres (or whatever) placed on the map where a supposed encounter occurred. And these would be clickable to bring up a battle report. I find when there are numerous battles in the same region, that they occur so rapidly (even with the pause button checked, it still seems unclear to me what's going on in the region) that it render's me unsure of what went on and how to proceed. Now this may be due to be still being new to the process too.

Lastly, could you list the scenarios from easiest to hardest?

Thanks

The manual is NOT updated with each patch. This is a heavy task that we shall find the time to do but haven't...yet :king:

it is better to prepare your new armies by droping them in the source region, before ploting your moves I think.

As for the crossed sabers, not for now, even if we thought about that too. There is still much to do on the AI, and the interface received much attentions already (enough for now :) ).
