Compressed Save option

Do you gents play with this option enabled? And if so why?

It's only useful for PBEM

Plus-point: It saves an immense amount of disk space if you have a lot of scenario turns saved.

Minus-point: If you have turn compression turned on, you cannot look inside the files.

Work-around: If you are PBEMing you can always compress the files before attaching them to an email and in fact use better compression than the PK-Zip algorithm the game engine uses, such as RAR, 7Zip or FreeArc.
