One last question before I buy

I am about to buy this game and just one more question

How is the in game text ? Is it hard on aging eyes ?

You can change your resolutions. I have been losing my sight lately and it can be tough on me though when I lower my resolutions down they're fair. Also my other question to you might be if you would use a magnifying glass to highlight some of the more important info? I'm sure you can buy one you can over over your monitor.

I wasn't too excited about reading in the original interface. The black on silver was tough.

However there is an Interface Mod that greatly increases the ease of reading the text for aging eyes. Also adds to the feeling of the era. I think it has been incorporated in the patch.

Take a look at it, specifically posts 16 & 17. I think you will enjoy it. :thumbsup:

Very nice thanks for that--I missed the warmer cedar finish and didn't care for the "modern" look at all.

Still, I was hoping the tiny font on the message screens lower right could be enlarged, or at least the field made solid as opposed to translucent.
