Public Beta Patch 1.05 RC4

Tue Jan 13, 2015 3:48 pm

Dear Players,

You can find the new iteration of patch 1.05, in public beta stage, in the 'Help Improve CW2' subforum. The patch is very stable and improves the game significantly. Please go in the said forum and check the details of it there!

Cheers,
The Ageod Team.

Sorry if this has been answered before but can this beta patch be applied to a Steam version of the game? If so, how do I go about it?

Yes you can, just make sure that the path set in the installer finish with your steam folder, in this case as I recall correctly steamapps/Civil War II.
The patch have a predefined path and a tendency to add another Civil War II folder after you browse the correct path for the installer.
You can also do as I did, copy the Civil War II folder from steamapps on another location on your drive (possibly rename it a bit, add Beta) and apply the patch on that folder, so you have the official release on steam folder, and a beta relese on another location.

Thank you Flumen. I did not know you could make a copy of CW II. I will give it a try.

Pocus explained to me like a month ago, when I was wondering how to test the beta without messing with the official Steam release.
Works great, thanks Pocus!

This may be a silly question but where do you go to get this beta patch?
Also, what fixes were made?
