Leader recognition for succesful sieges?

In two instances playing against the AI, two large Armies, AI 'super stacks', surrendered after a few months siege time.

I never noticed any of the leaders getting rewarded for this great accomplishment - the surrender of massive enemy forces and the avoidance of epic bloodshed should be honored.
