Fixed Units

Fixed united are eliminated if forced to retreat?

I have had units retreat onto stacks and become fixed. If such a stack is attacked and forced, are all the units (fixed and unfixed destroyed) - or only the fixed ones?

Fixed units that are attacked, and survive are unfixed. They should retreat normally. If they are inside a structure they won’t retreat but if they survive the attack they will still become unfixed.

Fixed units do retreat, units being built do not retreat, they fight to the death since they cannot move until complete.
