Any idea as to what may have caused this? Right into the battle the army HQ and corps were using sync movement, so they should have stayed together ... and you don't really want an army HQ with a good general and very few troops all on its own in the enemy backyard. Any way I could have prevented this from happening? Thanks.
I saw this happen in Beta when I didn't have sync movement turned on. The Army HQ was set to intercept an enemy unit and got into combat. The attached corps moved towards the sound of the guns, supported the combat and then moved back to their original territories. The army HQ then pursued the enemy into another territory and got trapped behind enemy lines.
It sounds like something similar might have happened to you.
- Are you sure about the sync movement for the attached corps?
- Did you lose the battle, could some of the troops have retreated but not all of them?
- Where any of your units set to move?
