How do I interpret the battle gauge? What does the number in the circle at the top of the gauge represent? What about the number in the rectangle and the number inside the star? Do the numbers on the "wings" of the battle gauge represent the current combat strength for all engaged forces?
Number on the wings - number of men Number inside the star - entrenchment value of defending side Number on top of circle - cannot remember right now, maybe combat round, or day, I know when I see the gauge I'll remember it
Appreciate all the replies. I should have deduced the number inside the star symbol as entrenchment value, since it resembles a star fort. The number on top of the circle must be the day in which combat occurs as I have never seen this number change while watching the gauge; also, you must be right about the bottom number Joe, as I have only seen this number decrease until the word assault eventually appears.
