I recently purchased a copy of BOA2-WIA from NWS-Online. The version I received was the version published by Matrix Games (I have several Matrix titles and I have never had an issue with their games).
I installed the game and when it got to the enter product serial number, at first I couldn't find it. Not located on the manual, a product key card or in the box. I found it located on the disc. First issue, the disc was in the computer. No problem I eject the disc write down the code. Verified it several times to make sure it was correct. Entered the product code. Get error about incorrect number/letters use hypens etc...Re-entered the code again (actually several times using O and 0 variations etc...) Still the error appeared. Searched ageod forums and found a thread about the same issue. One individual stated he patched the game and the code worked. I did the same and the code indeed did work. Second issue, the game I got was unplayable without the v1.04c patch. This makes no sense honestly. I cann't explain why the code was only accepted after the game was patched but that is what happened.

I believe it is post #14. Additionally, it is a thread from the BOA tech support. Luckily I didn't realize it at the time. I realize I'm not asking for tech support, but I wanted to notify buyers of your product and WIA tech support about the issue I encountered.
