Subordinate leaders w/in a stack

Sat Dec 06, 2008 12:47 pm

I'm pretty new to the game, and was wondering if someone could explain how the stats of subordinate leaders within a stack count. Do their strategic ratings still matter? (ex. if they are not activated, but the leader of the stack is, does that penalize their specific division?). Do their combat stats count (Off and Def ratings), and if so, are they cumulative with the stack commander's ratings? Do their special abilities, if they have any, still apply to their division? Thanks for any info!

The strategic ratings of subordinate leaders don't matter, unless we're talking about a leader with an SR of 4 or more who isn't assigned command of a unit (brigade/division), in which case the stack gets a +1 CP bonus.

Off/def ratings only matter if the leader in question is commanding a unit, and then only to that unit.
