Hi there, I would like to know..how to blockade (or better said: how I can hold the CSA ships to get in the harbour. Is it enough to control the Fort (for an example let`s take Fort Pulaski): When I conquer this fort..is the harbour blocked? Or I`ve to conquer the harbour that`s little bit behind the fort?

Thankx, tooltip I don`t watch. At the end I meaned: If I conquer a fort in front of a city with a habor, is this enough to block the harbor? But you answer gived me the answer I think

When you block a harbour you block the supplies and affect the economic value of the region.
But this don't impede "on map" enemy ship units to try to enter or exit the port.
Of course this ships will have a big probability of being intercepted by the blockading ships and provoking a combat.
Regarding forts, they help reduce the number or elements needed for a economic/supply blockading on the sea region.
But enemy ships can try to bypass the fort and will be fired upon by the forts guns.
