That's a little harsh. Ribery always plays like a crazed maniac. I don't think he did so any more than usual this game.

I'm reasonably happy Bayern won in spite of their having two of my least favorite players, both of whom were key tonight, in Ribery and Robben. Of course Muller's one of my favorites, so it all evens out I guess.

Hi all,
Because I need more time for my other nation in World conflict and Europe Conflict, I need to give Egypt to other person.
So if 1 person can play Egypt is really happy for me, I destroy this country, and I am very sorry for that, I try fallow other big nation in a good war for Sudan and result I lose all Sudan and Suez, and maybe more. So very sorry.

Most votes so far seem to be a "yes, but only 2". (See "Ottoman Dips" in "Player discussion"). I see the point and for the sake of settling this I wthhold further arguments, if you agree that the starting number is five (a full pool for the Ottomans). Which I would have arranged so anyway, had I managed the country from scratch, because I know this issue.

Sounds like a reasonable plan to me. Though we usually wait for more votes than four before we consider something settled. So let's see what anyone else says
Gentlemen, sorry I have been unable to load orders for the past two turns. I went to the beach for the holiday weekend only to find that my beach house didn't have cable and internet for the summer yet(!!!). Somehow I was able to console myself with the beautiful weather, the beach, and alcohol.
I was consequently unable to respond to any messages - I haven't been able to load any turns or read the forums thoroughly yet, but if I missed a state visit or other diplo message I am extremely sorry. Send me a pm if I did and I will send the diplo offer back using my diplomats.

Sorry, Jonathan, cannot run the script. It has the usual problem of auto-upgrading we have reported in the past. China is sold wooden ships and they respawn as ironclads. We need to find a way to create the same generation of ships that are sold. In hindsight, I wonder what kind of ships did the Netherlands sell you and how did they respawn. Moreover, there are other problems with the script. The number of ships sold is simply unrealistic. This creates a problem to both USA and China. USA regarding the huge Prestige loss we have to factor in for the "disappearance" of so many ships at once and China to check if it reaches or exceeds its force pools. I have no problem with ship sale scripts, especially as they help in the turnover of older generational ships, but they have to be done in a more careful way, not presented two hours before deadline time out of the blue.

Right now the ships in my possession as a result of the transfer script from Holland are one unit of (20gunMLS) Ironclad Corvette 1860-75 [4 ships] and two units of (30gunMLR) Ironclad Frigate 1860-75 [4 ships each]. When I negotiated for those ships, Holland wrote the following which I assumed would be the ships that I get:
"I have one screw corvette (50$), one screw frigate (250$) and a classic sail frigate (50$)."
However, since I was charged 400$ for the ships instead of 350$, I assumed that at the last moment Holland decided to sell better ships to me. But I suppose there is a possibility that an error was made in the script, if so feel free to make the appropriate downgrade to my ships.
I'm not sure exactly how ship prestige is handled, is the prestige penalty for ships lost in combat the same as for those that are voluntarily disbanded? In any case, the prestige loss for the USA (and the gain for China) could be temporary, because I promised the USA that he can have those ships back any time he wants. I wonder if the USA in real life lost any prestige when they lend-leased 50 obsolescent destroyers to the UK. I made arrangements for the USA to be compensated with modern ships from a 3rd party who has already agreed to sell them, but the construction of those ships has not yet been completed.
I think it might be a good idea to articulate an official deadline for the inclusion of scripts to be processed for the upcoming turn.
