I have been looking around for 30 minutes now and I haven't found anywhere to download this mod. Is it still alive or have the mod died and been removed?

No. the last version is in the 1.1 thread. I plan to release a new version working with the 1.16 patch in the next weeks. Lastversion is working with 1.15 patch.
