No no, I think he was talking about the boxed version that we proposed, it was made one year ago. If you have just bought it (not from us directly) you don't need the big patch.

Hehe okey. Is there any way I can check in the game if I have the mapupdate? i.e just look at the map for special features. I have the big map update downloaded already. Perhaps I can install it anyway? Even if it's there already it won't hurt installing it again?

Sorry for the trouble.

You can install the map update anyway. :)
Just extract it and copy the files to "...\BoA\Graphics\regions" (overwrite the existing files)
I would recommend that you use the 17 MB map update file (not the 180 MB) since it contains only the changed regions. (The 180 MB update contains the whole map and would also change the single region which is modified by the 1.10d patch back. :bonk: )

Is the BOA_Bridges_Ferries104.zip file the same as the BOA_MapUpdate_1.04.exe update, except it just contains the changed files? I bought the game direct from AGEOD when it first came out (download followed later by box, IIRC). I have since run the MapUpdate_1.04. Can I just ignore the Bridges and Ferries file?
