Possible Bug?

Sun May 04, 2008 3:55 pm

Since a fresh install of the game and update to 1.10 patch have noticed that the National Morale numbers are missing (don't show). Also notice during the battle results screen that who won does't show either. I think that there are a few others but can't remember off hand. I have reset the graphics resoution to all 4 settings and restarted all 4 times but get the same results. Have seen a couple of others post about this. Believe this to be a 1.10 patch problem as this did not happen ib 9. Whatever e patch. :grr:

When I experienced this and Pocus told me that it was a problem that my windows didn't have a certain font (cheboygan) that the game required. I can't attach the file for some reason but if you put that font into your Windows/Font directory then reboot, it displays just fine.

Weird. The game played fine before. After the recent patch is when the problem began. I'll install the font though. Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi!
Check this post for solutions about this problem
http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=5324&highlight=fonts
It seems to be a occasional problem with windows.
Sometimes it's solved just with a restart, or by manually copying the fonts or by a game reinstall in the worst cases.
Hope it helps
Regards

I thought I was the only one who had boring Sunday afternoons. Playing AACW is exciting, but then I get a communique from "Army HQ" that's it's time to mow the lawn.
