AACW Rating on Gamers Gate

Tue Oct 09, 2007 9:39 am

Sounds promising and we all know not everyone takes his time to rate a game or write a review. I just did both.

The avg rating is 4.5 on a maximum of 5. I just rated it 5.

I can only see 2 reviews which i'm copying here.

Sharon Somero (Friday, 27 July 2007) [Sharon Somero rated 5]
This game will have you looking in your history books. They have every general you can dream of. From the ones you know like R.E. Lee and U.S. Grant all the way down to the forgotton Heroes like Philip Kearny.

Everything in this game is solid nothing is realy over looked. AS a famous saying goes. Good Leaders Talk Battles. Great ones Talk Logistics.

Markus Maunula (Sunday, 08 July 2007) [Markus Maunula rated 5]
This is the one of the greatest achievments in wargaming ever. I honestly never thought anyone would write a competent AI on a grand scale like this. I loved VGs Civil War and thought a silicon version would remain a dream. This is even better than Victory Games version.

Together with Take2Command:Manassas, this game is a must have for any serious Civil War buff and/or wargamer.

My personal review should be published soon.

We do know there's more than just 8 AACW players here. But the fact the rating is so high and the reviews are so good is a credible indicator.
Carry on AgeOD, you rule!!!
