Question on movements

Sun Jul 22, 2007 5:50 pm

I wonder, how do you move a unit to an adjacent region and back to the original region in the same turn?

Dunno how it can be done, but which situation do you need to do that for?

Press down the shift key when plotting the final move back into your original region.

yep thats me guess as well, and I do the same thing. I will plot moves to specific sections of rail for example with a patrolling force to prevent raiders from cutting the line.

Is it worth the extra micromanagement? My usual tactic is to station militia in offensive posture along the front and keep some cavalry in reserve to deal with those that get through, but I don't know if that's the best way of doing it.

for me it is :} as they say, the devil is in the details. besides in my humble opinion the greatest advantage the union has is interior lines via its transport assets, the union can simply move the mostest the fastest and I like to safeguard this by patrolling the rails.
