Enemy Capital

I'm sure I'm missing something but, I took Richmond and I can't figure out where the new CSA capital is located? It was probably in a message that I missed. But there has to be another place where you can figure this out.

Any ideas?

Capitals have got a sort of white dome symbol next to their name on the map. Take a look at Washington. I'm playing the union and the rebs moved their capital to Mobile - there was no message about it (unless I missed it too), you have to look for the white dome.

I took Washington as the CSA, scanned the WHOLE map and cannot find the new Union capital. I suspect the white dome maybe under some Union stack sitting outside major Union cities. Is there any way to check capital loctaion via tooltip rather then by the dome icon?

Unless I am mistaken, there is a finite list of locations where it can be, including (not sure if limited to) New York, Philadelphia, St Louis (IIRC) (and Boston?). Have you scrutinized those locations?

Playing the CSA in the Politics screen at the beginning of the game it gives me the option to move my capitol to Richmond. So I assume that in the beginning the capitol is Mobil Alabama.

I took Richmond in one game when I was playing the USA, new CSA Capital was New Orleans or very near by. not 100% sure, but cetainly near there
