I would propose :)

Mon Aug 06, 2012 6:31 am

Greetings, guys. Since I like this game a lot, I would like to propose several scenarios. I'd be very happy, if you give me your feedback. So my choice are the Russo-Turkish war 1877-1878, because it liberated Bulgaria, also led to some teritorial changes for the existing at that moment countries on the Balkans and the war was fought on two fronts: Balkan and Caucasian. The second choice of mine are The Balkan wars, because there're two: First Balkan war and Second. The First was Bulgaria&Greece&Serbia&Montenegro vs The Ottoman Empire. The second is Bulgaria vs Ottomans&Serbia&Greece&Romania&Montenegro. So from military point of view they are very interesting, especially the Thracian front of the Bulgarians against the Turkish, the major powers at that time on the Balkans.
Cheers lads

We had some preliminary work on the 1877-1878 war, such as the OOB. If you feel like modding it, I'll be glad to provide the xls file ;)

... another issue:

When starting the 1850 GC, most nations are assigned missions for the decade.

After 1860, however, no further missions are assigned. I also understand from the game files that there are additional missions for later times.

Since I have found mission quite interesting (and also fun) trying to achieve, I wonder how much tweaking it would require to have missions assigned in each decade.

The missions are in fact scripted events, check the PON database in the modding forum for these, but they are not of the easiest type to do... Start small with simpler events :)
