Adding music ???

Wed Jun 02, 2010 3:31 pm

Other than a song being a .mp3 and adding Mus_ to the front of a song, is there anything else needed for some additional songs to added to the Musics folder and getting the game to use them ???

Not possible, sorry. This job can be done only be me, sorry. :king:

I have to update some .bin files and the source code of the game...

But the amount of RAM currently used by musics is already huge, so I discourage such ideas. :neener:

Thank you.

The reason that I asked is that I found good some pre-WW1 and WW1 German .mp3 songs and wanted to add them to the game, but did know know if the game would play them after I added them to the Musics folder.

So if I delete some songs, it will be a great help to my RAM?

In reading what you said, I get the impression that if I rename other songs to one of the game's existing songs, it will play these new songs in the game with no problems.

No, you probably make the game crashes when he tries to load them! :mdr:

Yes, it's so. But you make it at your risk. :neener:

Thanks.

Another music question. I assume when you have the particular nation included in the songs title (ENG, RUS, USA) that these songs only play when you are playing that side, or do they just play when a certain event happens ???

No, musics are played in random mode at all.

You can browse them by using the V key.

Thank you and I really thank you for improving this game since it first came out. It is really nice for it to work correctly with no CTDs now.
