Congratulations, Calvinus

Tue Jun 01, 2010 10:29 pm

WW1 sub-forum is the second most popular one on Ageod, second only to AACW, with 12.000+ posts !

Although this may not mean much, IMHO it's a sign of the growing and well deserved popularity of WW1G, specially now with the Gold version.

As this is mostly a one-man show, a big round of applause is due, IMHO, to Calvinus. Of course, PhilThib, GPfeiffer and the beta team are also to be congratulated !

Congratulations, Calvinus, you did it !!  :p ompom: :p ompom:

Yeah..the guy took a lot of incoming when the game first came out. I never really thought the game would come back. But Calvinus, and others, have shown restraint, patience, and great customer support resulting IMHO in a gold version w/ excellent gameplay  .

+1. The potential for the game was always very obvious to me. But the effort put in to get there was significant and showed great results. I'm having a blast!!!

I'll add my kudos to Calvinus as well. This is the best game I've played for quite a while. Both fun and challenging to play.

Yeah... but how many of those are bug reports....
Who cares? It doesn't detract from the overall awesomeness of this game! Well done, calvinus! Everyone celebrate in a tradition unique to your country (which, here in the US, involves lousy beer, which everyone thinks is delicious).

And in France it involve a cheese who respect this rule: "the worst the smell, the better the taste".

Seriously, congratulations, first I thought 600 gold versions was really disappointing but maybe it's not that bad actually... I don't know. I should study the market a little more.

Also, I've read old interviews of Phil', and I didn't know who worked that much alone. I hope you have a wife at least. :neener:

Let's not forget about the Matrix Games count; that adds another 1800 posts.
If all goes well with MP gaming, this should climb quite a bit.
