PBEM CSA Manpower 1863 onwards

Sun May 11, 2008 4:25 am

O.k. I try to maintain about 10 replacements of infantry in the pool, and usually 1-4 of other elements, such as calvary, artillery etc. Regarding PBEM and 1863 onwards for the CSA, how do you replace manpower when the USA assaults until they bleed you dry? I try to keep a reserve pool of 100 conscripts, but the USA seems that it can lose whole corps at a time and still punch through lines of level 8 entrenchments. I think that I get between 26-30 conscripts a turn in 1863 as well. Morale is about 150.

With historical attrition on, and especially in 1.10, it is very hard to keep replacements.

Your best bet is to maintain conscript points and then build replacements when you are in a position to give replacements to your regiments.
