Manipulating Stacks

Wed Feb 27, 2008 11:50 pm

In the manual under Manipulating Stacks it states that with the Army Stack selected, hold the [Shift] key down and it will display the command radius of that Army. I understand this part!

Also in the manual under Manipulating Stacks it states holding down [Shift] key… “When a (non-Army) Stack is selected:” (this part I do not understand) "See the nearby regions and nature of links."

Does anybody know what the different color lines that radiate out from the unit or stack represents?

Thanks

Hi graycoyote!

Does anybody know what the different color lines that radiate out from the unit or stack represents?

They tell you which kind of terrain your units have to cross to move from the region they are in to the region the coloured lines point too.
So light blue means they need to cross a river for example. The different colours represent the different terrain types.

Hi!

Well, i know, more or less... :siffle:
Each colored line tells you what kind of conection the area where the unit is situated has with the surrounding areas.
So yo will se a light blue line pointing the an area on which you have to cross a river to get there, a dark blue area leading from coastal area to sea area meaning you need to embark to go there, black lines (i think) when there is railroad conection, grey for road connection, brown for cross country connection, etc
Don't took my word about the colors, as i´m speaking from memory, but it should be pretty similar
Regards!
