I don't know how to title this but I need some help

I have read EVERYTHING i can and played the small scenarios over and over.

I understand the chain of command and how you have to Strip the General of his rank so you can put an army back together BUT.....

My problrm is I KNOW covered somewhere but I will be danged if I can find it.

When I am reconstructing armies I keep running into the problem of getting the Division leaders THIER command back AND how do you get the individual units INTO the Division, Corps ect.

I break the army down and I am ok on corps commanders but I can't get the Divison commanders to accept any brigades ect. The + button to add the armies works for one brigade then I can't get it to work agian NOR give my 1 star his division.

In a nutshell, while I understand the chain of command the actual working to get it there is beyond me. HELLLLLLP please. Thanks Guys

Look again at the manual section on forming Divisions. (Because this was a change after version 1, it is also spelled out in a large block of text in the patch Readme file).

In short, a general can be attached to only one brigade UNLESS he has been selected for Divisional command. This is a choice that costs something (10 money, 5 war supplies, and 1 conscript point IIRC--the tool tip will tell you) and has some limitations (for instance, only an activated general may be given Div command, and you are limited in total number of Divisions). To give a general Divisional command, select him (and you may need to move him outside his stack first) and choose the appropriate option among the command buttons.

After giving the general Divisional command (but during the same turn), select him and any other units that you want for his Division, then choose the combine (+) button. This should create the Division Unit (which can also be added to later). Remember that a single Division may not contain more than 18 elements.

If this doesn't seem to work, do a search for "forming divisions" here, or else send me a PM. After you do it once it makes perfect sense.
