War Supply quiestion...

Thu Jan 03, 2008 5:07 pm

My CSA Blockade Runners and Sea Lane Raiders bring war supply and cash each yurn. I get 20+ war supply each turn from these sources and a like amount of cash. I, of course, really am in need of extra war supply. My question is, where does this show up. I can't make the math work. The chalk board at the top doesn't seem to indicate this war supply gain or am I not looking at this correctly. Currently I am gaining 45 war supply each turn from all of the normal sources within the states. Say I gain an additional 21 war supply from Runners and Raiders during a two week turn. Why doesn't it go into my stockpile? Maybe it is. Please explain where this gain shows up. I need it bad.

Yes, but I am talking about the reported war supply taken by commerce raiders each turn.

they are directly added to your current stock.

for exemple :
in my last turn my merchand fleet (i play Union) give me 28 money and 4 WS so my current stock went from the estimated numbers of 5 money and 55 WS at the end of the previous turn to 33 money and 59 WS at the start of the turn.

my actualized stock with the upcoming production (205 money 243 ws) and some investment is actually 87 money and 107 WS

I just noticed in the manual that CSA commerce raiders do not bring their war supply booty back to the south, they just decrease northern war supplies by the reported amount. Hope someone confirms that this is correct. That may be my answer.

commerce raiders (the ones in the shipping lanes) = subtract the "booty" from union stock, thats correct
Blockade Runners brinb the supply into your stock

thats 2 different things.

Here's an example from my last turn. My current War Supply balance is 3. The financial page shows that after all uses of and additions to War Supply my anticipated balance after the next turn is run will be 30. After I run the turn I read where my Atlantic runners brought in 7 war supply and my Gulf runners bropught in 5 war supply. My balance is now 39. Why does this not balance?
Shouldn't it now be 42? Is there something I am missing about how these accumulate?

Also, ship repair use a part of their initial cost and can't be factored in the balance.
