New Patch - increase of forces

Hi All

I have just downloaded the new patch and as union I have just come across a confederate force around the manases area at over 140,000 strong, and also lots of large corps around it - also alot of large corps are appearing all over the map?

How can this be possible - has the ai gone mad and treaked the CSA manpower level?

Well I though if the ai is sending forces to the east the west must be empty- but far from it - loads of units raiding the far west and big armies also around atlanta, columbus etc. - any thoughts - its just made the game unplayable now?
