Update on Match of the century LOL

Sun Apr 13, 2008 2:02 pm

Well as you might have remebered Im the self-proclaimed GOD of strategy wargames lol....everything from Civs, MoO, BoF...etc. If its turned baised strategy I probably played it....versus Ageod's own home Guard elite Jab

Recieved his first e-mail....I told him what to do for my first couple of my turns turns cuz their kinda boring....in hind sight coulda done one thing different with my uwww 1 unlocked unit lol...but it wont make or brake my union for sure.

My point of the thread is to try to quess, in advance, what the wiley vetran Jab is up to from seeing his troop movements.....well he certainly went on the offensive fast....as he has a division ready to storm Ft Pickken n doubt I can get any unlocked relief down there yet........but its his next move I think Ive second quessed that puzzles me.

Well it doesnt take any genius on my part to understand the first year was all about border states....but it perplexs me that im pretty sure he intends to go after W.V next....just suprised at that choice cause I dont think he can get the capital but its still very early. Well from Pittsburg I can support my WV capital so I dont think he will be sucessfull, but if he brings Jackson thru the pass like I suspect this could get ugly for my boys in blue.

Ohh yeah....Lyons didnt trigger for me :p leure: dissapointing for sure....I woud take the loyalty drop anyday for his early unlocked troops and expert leadership (hard to find good union help)...(sigh) just have ta make do with what I got lol

Well were going into turn 6..... I think

N Jab has been nice enough to inform me he has conceeded WV to me.....n I graciously thanked him n asked would he be nice enough to include Kentucky with that too?...I am patiently awaiting his response :siffle:

Oh yeah ...the game seeemed to make a liar outta me n Lyons DID trigger....hmmm I thought it was turn 3???....but I didnt see him till turn 4?....either way Jab has pushed Polk up into Cario and Im sending Lyons with everything I can find in there so seems to be the first big early match-up other then Jab is resting his forces to maybe try for Pickens again (dunno, first attemp failed) and harrasing the devil outta me with his Cav units of coursel

Lyon may not trigger at all. He never did in my current PBEM.

yeah Coffee ....quess i got lucky n bought a break there as i really can use his stats....it isnt just holding Mo .....doubt ill use him there much at al,. but if i can get him leading a ful division he is potentially my best hope to score some early victories.
