This teleporting thing

Fri Feb 15, 2008 12:31 am

I now know how it works, but I what I need to know is this...

Does the Coorps Commander and all the boys teleport, or just the commander,

The reason I ask is this, I was playing last night and tried a new strategy (it sucked btw).

I wasn't paying attention and all of a sudden I had a Yank Division 253/253 (yep pretty big for Militia to mess with) making his way up Florida and besieging towns and moving on.

So what I want to know is this...

Can I teleport T jackson down there (if all his army goes with him) Smack around the Yank Division a bit and then teleport back and let out of supply and milita finish him off?

If his army doesn't go then this is a moot point.

I am also thinking this is more of a cheat (if the army goes and am trying to figure some personal restrictions to place on it (like in same Grand region I have to wait One turn and for each Grand region away I have to wait 1 additional day before acting. It may not be strong enough restictions but I'll start there and add on as needed).

(I feel like Keven Costner in the Postman...Things are getting better all the time)

Thanks Y'all

You can only redeploy (teleport) generals and support units such as HQ's, engineers and field hospitals.

How do you do this? Im currently sending many 1* generals West, but just using the regular way of moving them.

Hi
Its easy.
Just find the redeploy button at the bottom of one of the orders tab (its like a red arched arrow over green fields). Check the tooltip to be sure.
Then select the leader/support unit you want to teleport, press the redeploy button and then go to the area you want him to go and click on it.
The leader will appear there immediately and you can even use him this same turn, but he will have a penalization on his stats till next turn
When you select a destination, just be careful to click on the intended area and not over an stack on that area.
On standard option settings you have 1 redeploy use and the Ai three. You can increase or decreases the uses on the options menu.
Regards

Also, you need to have control of the region that you are redeploying to.
