Intervention has Fired Hooray!

Ok I got the Intervention Event to Fire what should I do with all my Foreign legions now that there unlocked? Should I defend Canada? I've never had this event fire before I suppose I should destroy the union blockade.. Canada looks lightly defended though Should I send the BEF there first?

Just off the top of my head, I would first reinforce critical areas, then I would start another front. Canada's a good spot.

I'd send them to Canada. Thats what they would have done, historically anyway. The Union will have to draw troops off to fend them off, and if they don't you can grab Boston, Rochester, etc.

I sent the BEF to Canada but so far my campaign has been limited because Winter has set in I plan on taking Detroit and hopefully it will take some pressure off my western theatre that is getting hammered right now and the Transmissippi forces in Arkansas are starting to crumble from union pressure.
The French have so far cornered the Mexican Republican forces so far and have them under siege. I hope to defeat the Mexicans and use the French Forces to Bolster the Transmissippi Theatre.

I was lucky enough to have the foreign intervention and like the previous post, i used the French Corps to destroy (very easily) the Mexican Army and reinforce the Mississipi Theater.

I also made a landing to Philadelphia with all the British Army (wich was not really effective at the beginning) and took some cities around and broke the railroad.
When the Union Forces came to fight, i send all my British forces to Washington wich was lightly defended and ended the game by taking the capital city.

The foreign intervention cannot make decision by itself but is really effective to create a new front and divide the Union Forces.

Hey I read your thread Yellowhammer I sent the BEF to Bolster the Canadians I have gotten Bogged down at Detroit with Two of my corp's and Tried an initial assault on Buffalo but got bogged down in the mud and had a minor battle with some losses but not the decisive battle I was hoping for to push the US forces out. My French Army is still Besieging Chihauaua And Right now The Army of Northern Virginia need to leave the winter encampments and try and out maneuver the forces around Washington so I can take the city.
