Strange Moral Level robbery!!

Tue Nov 27, 2007 7:29 pm

After a huge battle in Chattanooga, my army of the mississippi defeats a nordist army causing heavy losses.
When read the messages i found that my ML increases 5 points.
Before this turn my ML was 136.

However, the screens shows my new ML like 131.
My victory cost me 5 MP!!!
In this turn no other battle or siege.

This is a bug???

Possibly some financial/draft option and/or the enemy captured some of your strategic towns?

Nope, no other battles or sieges in this turn, no political/economic/drafts/etc decisions early turn.

Wouldn't it be nice if this kind of big political decisions (drafting, embargoes...) and even important events taken by the enemy would appear in your log??? :innocent:
Historically this info was easily available to the enemy. These things can’t be done in secret. They appear in all the newspapers... and there were plenty of spies and sympathizers of the other side who could pass the info.

This way you would understand this kind of change on own and enemy NM... and feel the historical flavor of the war.
Just my 2 cents.
Cheers!

Additionals notifications can be done, but if you want to get it anytime soon, a modder can help you (and us) here... For AACW, we can't continue modding the game ourselves (bug fixing, AI improvements and new rules which are done for NCP can be added though).

There are certainly a few that can. NM can be a bit of a rollercoaster at times and I think it will need a nice modder to add a few extra notifications (but if you are not reading the ones you do get it will not help a great deal :sourcil :) .

Cheers, Chris

I understand.
Well... anyhow, it should also be a great addition to NCP or VGN! ;) :innocent:

We learned the lessons for NCP, all historical options (the F3/F4 ones) have a notification for each side.
