PBEM Problem

Sun Nov 11, 2007 4:51 pm

This is probably operator error rather than a bug, but I'm having a problem with my first PBEM game.

I'm playing the CSA, and my opponent is hosting. He sent me my first .trn file, I save it in a new folder, started the game, loaded it, played it and sent the .ord file off to him. He presumably ran the turn, and sent me my next .trn file, which I saved over the old .trn file in that new folder I made.

Now I can't find the file in the load menu! I even tried making another new folder and saving the new turn there, and it still won't show up. I even had him send me the turn again in a .zip file.

What am I doing wrong?

You, nothing. Him had the turn processed with your ord at the wrong place, so the AI did your turn. AI turns are not seen by players by default, so you don't see your file. Click on the 'show AI turn' button and you will see it... but it is a turn done without your orders.
