Anyone noticed Foote is a land leader?

He has a star instead of an anchor for his leader symbol...is this as designed? I remember reading a thread that so-and-so land leader got miffed when Foote got promoted...perhaps this is why?

Yeah, used him as a land leader in the 1.05a demo. What was his rating -5-4-4? This guy owns Missouri for sure.

Good catch!

I suspect that explains Foote's surprisingly poor performance in some of his naval battles.

This needs to be posted in the bug section.

I just checked the model database. Four admirals use the general star graphic instead of the admiral star-Farragut, Foote, Porter and Dupont. Yet all four are defined as naval leaders and not army leaders. I wonder whether the graphic or the definition takes precedence when the leaders are performing army or navy functions?

I would say this is a DB input error from our side, no underlying or implied signification...just a mistake :king:
