huge graphics

can anyone help me sort my graphics out. when i downloaded the demo, the screen was fine, but when i bought the game, the information boxes are too large for the screen, so i cant play the game yet. i have tried everything that i can think of, even nicking my missus screen from her computer, because hers is better, lol, but still cant sort this issue out. any help would be appreciated. many thanks.

Maybe its just a screen resolution issue? :bonk:
Try using the configuration Utility (AGEsetting) you have on the game menu (accessible form the windows start menu).
There you can choose many resolutions. The usual is use the desktop resolution fo the game too.

This can also be because your computer is not using the 96 DPI (dots per inch) standard setting. (if the text don't fit the boxes).

If you feel there are some texts missing, this is something else though (you'll have to copy a font to another directory)

also, have tried to reinstall it, and now its telling me that it cant find anybcompatible direct 3d devices , i didnt have this problem the first time that i loaded it. what have i done? lol

In this case, reboot. Then proceed to to check if you are under 96 DPI.
