'A second French Corps lands in Mexico' four times in a row and a nasty CTD

Sat Aug 30, 2008 1:22 pm

Hiya guys,

As the title says, the 'A second French Corps lands in Mexico' keeps firing. When resolving turns, I get a CTD (please send your save file bla bla) at about 14/15 or 15/15, so this might be related.

After I restart the game, I can reload the save file and begin at a new turn (the old one being completed). Kinda annoying.

Mark

P.S. Sent the save file to support@ageod.com

Thanks for looking into this!

Mark and support team.

I am getting similar CTD on the 1.11 beta 2, but the French in Mexico event is not an issue, just a winding down and reseting to the next turn then pow! Load up and next turn goes on as usual.

Also sent my save file and logs so maybe it will help resolve.

Mark, I am an XP user and using 1.11 beta 2. I installed directly over 1.10d and had never had this happen before, so I'm beginning to think I should have done what I was told and done a clean install of 1.11.

Hi there,

I got your reports, and the bug is identified. Patch 1.11a will be issued monday.

Sorry for the trouble.

When I think of France I think of hanging out in pools there when I was 16. That's my French stereotype. Just watch out for the older ladies. :fleb:

By the way, my sound errors are almost certainly from my machine, not your program. I play most games without sound, because this machine has always encountered sound errors in multiple apps.

Thanks guys for you speedy replies.
