Reinstalling AACW

Fri Mar 28, 2008 11:08 pm

Hopefully a quick query that is easily answered. I purchased the 'downloaded' rather than the 'CD' version of the game...just could not wait. Anyway if I ever want to reinstall the game how do I go about it? I have the serial key but there seems no obvious option on any of the AGEOD forums for re-installation.

If I uninstall AACW am I automatically given the option to reinstall? If not how does re-installation work?

Regards

In order to reinstall, you'll need to re-run the downloaded setup.exe after first having uninstalled the game (e.g. by choosing that option in AACW's program group in the start menu).

So, the important question is, have you kept (a copy of) the downloaded setup.exe?

Nope Rafiki I hav'nt. All I have kept is the e-mails from AGEod telling me how much I have paid, what the delivery method will be, the reference number of the order and the serial number/activation code.

So how do I proceed from there?

Send that information (reference number and serial key/activation code) to support@ageod.com, and we'll take it from there.

(Not exactly sure what is needed and what the procedure is, but it'll be figured out :) )

And after you download it again... keep the .exe safely stored! :p apy:
You can burn it on a CD-R or on a pen drive as a backup copy, in addition of keeping it on your hard disk for future re installations.
It's just the same that a game on CD... but without the CD :niark:
