Download AACW again

Tue May 29, 2007 8:02 am

I'm on business trip and I would like to download BOA and AACW on my laptop.

How can I do that without paying again ?

(I sent me the mails with the activation codes)

It would have been easier to copy paste your folder on your home PC onto your laptop...you could then use the same serial codes. :indien:

Related question: If I have the download version of BoA and AACW and acquire a new computer (as I am planning right now), what is the proper way of bringing the games to my new computer? If I copy the entire folders over, using an external HD, does that work technically, and is it OK legally? Thanks. :)

Yes it works and is legal. Once you purchase the game, it is yours. The only thing you are not 'allowed' to do is to duplicate the game and give/sell it away to other users :sourcil:

Phil, will it work by just copying the game folder to the new system, or do I need to get stuff out of the regisrty also?

Copy will work well enough, no problem (protection is inside the code, not in your registry :innocent: )

Our protection policy is customer friendly. We believe in customer service.

However, the minute we see a serial on usenet, the serial owner gets a life ban.

I think this is a fair trade.

So NEVER give your serial to someone else, you'll never know what he might do with it.

Maybe i wasn't make myself clear, but if i pay new serial, does it works with my donwloaded AACW alone(@ Korrigan no sharing, no give away of serial) perhaps the forum might not be the place for this kind of question?

Don't worry. You were perfectly clear and Philippe Thibault has answered your question (Yes, it works).

I was adding an information on a side subject. Indeed, I take every opportunity to give this information. As we're pretty tough on this, nobody will be able to say he had not been warned.

For BoA, we only had one person blacklisted. So I think we can be pretty proud of our community. :cwboy:

Best regards,

Korrigan

Tough you're right to be! It's no so often that we -players and historical lovers- can benefit of such great games! Best support is to pay :-)

I want to un-install & re-install a fresh copy of AACW with patch v1.06, but I did not save the original download when I purchased back in May.

I went through the site but I cannot find a re-download link. :bonk: :tournepas

I still have my E-mail Serial Number/Activation Code authorization receipt.

Any help would be appreciative

Thanks :hat:

What I did was when I first purchased the game, I downloaded the installer and I burned a copy of it, the manual and the latest patches along with a text file of my serial number to a CD-R. That way I can bring it with me on trips, install it on my laptop, etc. without any trouble.
Common sense takes us a long way in life. :innocent:

contact me, support@ageod.com with your serial key and information about your order, and I should be able to provide you with a download link.

But if you really love the game you can buy 5 or 6 times more. I think it will help us to continue to make better games, but it will, perhaps, not help your purse... ;)

Pocus, I just sent an email to you on this issue. I upgraded to vista but forgot to move my AACW install over. Hopefully I can get a download link to redownload :coeurs: Sent my serial code with the email.
