What Happened to 14th Fleet?

Ok - Feeling stupid. How do I attach saved game files? Sent a Union blockade flotilla and transport to blockade the river adjacent to Wilmington. Next turn these ships are no where to be seen or found. The message window tells me that the 14th Fleet (its name) arrived at the river on turn 13. I click on the message and it takes me to that river yet no ships are there.

You fleet may have been bombarded by Fort Fisher, and sunk, or by some other enemy unit. You don't get told they are sunk, you get a message stating something like "Fort Fisher bombarded Fleet 14, and did 50 pts of damage. We did 1 in return". This is your only indication that you fleet took damage, and was sunk.

As to how to attach a save game file. You will need to zip/rar your host flie, your turn file, and your orders file. You can find those in your save directory. We will also need the turn before the event happened (in this case the ships sank). After you compress the files, you can attach them using the "attachments" button under the go advanced posting section (must click off the quick reply section).
