Crash Log (1.16a)

Tue Jun 05, 2012 8:41 am

Hi guys,

just posting the crash log and save game. Game is version 1.16a, April start to full campaign with Kentucky. Was moving some militia around at Mobile, Alabama to avoid losing the fortification bonus outside and game critical errored. If there's anything more I can add, if this is something you'd like to track down, please let me know.

Best regards.

Is it repeatable? Were you able to relad and continue?

Hi lodilefty,

it doesn't repeat. Just to correct an error, the region in question was Montgomery, Alabama. On reloading, an extra unit of militia is present in the region. I've noticed that occasionally militia units do not seem to be showing up elsewhere too but reloading them returns them from invisibility (I moved a couple of brigades of two component militia to Nashville, where they promptly vanished the turn they arrived to reappear on a reload). Not sure if it's related to this particular crash but it's odd stuff.

Regards.

I can't debug a non-repeating error.

The wierdness you describe would suggest a complete uninstall/reinstall may help.

This is the third fresh install since 1.16a sadly. Appreciate that debugging without a repeatable bug is a pita. As I said, just flagging it, because game has been so stable for me for so long.
