Saving games

Howdy

So Im playing some CSA and decided to save in an old save spot. Now when I press the save I get an early save back in -61 April when it should be somewhere in -61 June. Whats up with that? Doesnt new saves in the same name overwrite the old save made in the same name?

I don't think so. It renames the current save folder, but I don't think it starts a new one.

Best way to do what you want is to copy a Save folder to a location outside of the game folder.

Hmm so basically I need to save each 15 day period (early May, late May etc.) under different names like 1, 2, 3, 4 etc?

You can do that, but not from within the game. You'd have to <alt><Tab> out, go to ACW\Saves\ and copy/paste/rename each turn....

Not sure what you are trying to do, but the game automatically saves the last 24 (or so?) turn files, so you can always backup or copy from the sub-directory into a newly ccreated Save subfolder.

\Backup1 is immediately previous turn, \Backup2 is turn before that, etc. etc.
