Hello,
Playing as Union version 1.15 1861 full campaign with KY add on in a pbem game.
I was just penalized 10 NM for failing to meet the requirements of the first threaten Richmond event and I thought I had met the requirements.
Here's the story.
I have had two divisions in Williamsburg, which is two regions from Richmond for more than two consecutive turns prior to the 1862/06/30 deadline. There are 16 units in this command, if I understand units correctly. From the manual:
“There are many types of units in the game representing anything from full divisions to independent artillery batteries or administrative staff (headquarters), but they all share the ability to be moved and be given orders individually if needed. This makes them the smallest elements in the game that you can manipulate, although they seldom operate alone and are usually grouped into forces”
The Williamsburg command is made up of 6 infantry brigades, 1 marine, 1 sharpshooter, 2 cavalry brigades and 6 artillery batteries plus 1 2-star and two 1-star generals. In addition there is a signal corps and two supply wagons which I don’t think count as units in this case. To be clear, I’m not counting elements, these are brigades and batteries.
Is something wrong with my understanding of how to count units, or how to count regions within two regions of Richmond? Do my units need to be in a region adjacent to Richmond?
Can send game files as I'm hosting, if necessary.
Much obliged.
