Problem in Installing the Patch?
I just bought this game, loaded it, closed it, downloaded (saved) the patch, and tried to open the patch to install it. It tried to open with Microsoft Word, which I don't have. I tried to open with other programs, but no go. Do I need to read the Word message on the patch, or was it installed simply by downloading it? Thanks!

No, the patch has nothing to do with word.
I think the problem may be that you don't have any program to uncompress it.
The patch you download is inside a zip file, compressed so it takes less space.
If you have any compression program instaled (winzip, winrar etc) just by clicking over the file twice should offer you the possibility of extracting the real patch (a .exe file) from the compression "envelope" (extension .zip).
If you don't have winzip or winrar, i can recommend the excellent 7-zip program that its free. You can get it here

Juts download, install it and the double click on the patch .zip file to uncompress it. Then you will be able to execute the real patch file (.exe).
