Interesting Battle Results and Weird Messages

Sat Apr 04, 2009 11:55 pm

In a PBEM game I have going on right now, we just concluded a turn in which in most of the battles I (as the South) statistically should have lost based on the factors in the results screens, but I won. Mind you, I think that is great, but it seems weird. For example, in one battle, Polk attacked Grant with a Global Combat Value of 262 versus 627 and won. I assumed that this was just a lucky battle, but the luck ratings were 48 versus 53, respectively. What am I missing in all of the factors that would suggest that Polk would win this one?

And, what is more interesting is that in the messages on the battles, it indicates that both Jackson and Longstreet were participants in the Battles of the Depot (Culpepper), but, in actuallity, were not involved in the battle(s).

Could there be a bug in which both Jackson and Longstreet's stats were used when they shouldn't have been?

See attached turn.

Thank you,
CptCav

Disregard the Polk battle. It turns out that Grant was attacking. I had Polk set to attack out when Beauregard arrives. But, Grant attacked first.

Thank you,
