Help getting started....

Wed Aug 23, 2006 7:10 pm

I put this on the Council Room forum but will try here as well. Where can I find the validation card that contains a serial number I appearently need to start the game after downloading it? It's asking for this and I can't find it anywhere. Thanks in advance for your help.

Didn't you receive it by mail ? If not, you'll have to wait until tomorrow, I think Phlithib will check it.

The only thing I received by e-mail was the download instructions which I did. So when I go to start the game i get a message asking for a serial number off of the validation "card". There was a license code on the e-mail which I thought might be it but when I typed it in I received a message about half way through stating that it was too long. Have you never heard of a validation card??

The card is given with the box when you choose the boxed version, and the serial number is sent by mail when you choose download. If yours does not work, send all your informations to PhilThib, he'll tell you what to do.

Did you patch the game ?

I just downloaded this morning. My understanding is that the game comes with the latest patch. If this is incorrect I can surely download the latest patch too.

sidenote, the game downloaded is not always from the last version, as the download service is handled by another company (and we produce patches too often for them :) ).
