An interesting problem...

Mon May 01, 2006 12:35 pm

OK...I get the turn from my opponent. It is the ORD file. I had saved my turn and it is the ORD file. I click on end turn button...after a few moments I am kicked out into the menu where where one starts a new game or loads up a saved game, etc. The Game itself does not progress to the next month.
Any thoughts? :tournepas I can send the files.

I have sent the files to you.
Meanwhile, I deleted all the files in the problem turn. I then backtracked to the previous turn in which we had no problems. I deleted the TAG file and the ORD files of the previous Turn (besides moving the HIST and the TRN files outside the backup folder and deleted the backup folder. I then reinserted the HIST and the TRN files into the save directory/folder and then I reinstalled the my opponents ORD file for this turn. I then reinstalled my ORD file and then I clicked end turn. The turn ran and a new backup and various files were created for the newest turn. I have done my ORD file and I have sent to my opponent his TRN file. I told him what I had done and what he may have to do....hopefully by tomorrow we will be on our next turn! :niark:

Thank you Pocus for you excellent help and support. However, since my opponent in redoing his turn did not have happen what had caused the problem we were able to move to the next month. But, I am glad on the other hand that my opponent and I were able to fine a 'bug' that has been taken care of and will be appearing in the next patch! :niark:
