If this game is still open; I'd like to play the EE if they are available.
My request on settings would be that the traffic penalty set to low level, or even mid level. (although the mid level may be a bit too harsh on cohesion.)

Yes both possible - now we only wait for one more player - are there any rules you would like to be included?

Excellent!
Well, besides the traffic option, I would suggest the settings set to veteran activation and easy supply off. Recruitment and reinforcement only in cities and depots.
Naval boxes don't really concern the EE, so that's your call.

How many turns a week was your goal?

I could do one a day except sometimes ;-) So what could you do? Would you like to do an AAR - then lesser turns and I need an advice how to make markers on screenshots and how to upload them here - just do not know how to do it yet ;-D

I would vary quite a bit between once a day to once every three days, but I'd be shooting for one turn a day.

Hmm, I would be interested in doing another AAR. I find it helps me keep my plans together and also helps in communication between the EE and WE. But writing an AAR would slow down turn time even further.

I should state that in mid-March I am headed overseas to the Middle East for an unknown length of time and will not be able keep up the pace of the game. In fact; mayhaps I shouldn't actually make this commitment. Let me check a few things out first.

Put me down as a tentative yes for now. But if you find other players then by all means proceed without me.

Oh! And in regards to making marks on your screenshots.
The "print screen" button takes a picture and puts it on your clipboard.
Then you open paint or some other program and paste it on. From there you add any markers that please you.
After that you insert them in your post by clicking the "insert image" button on the post and uploading some pictures.

Cheers!

I'm interested to play CP, if you want to coordinate the Entente via a common AAR. No preferences regarding rules, as it would be my first TEAW Pbem, I have no clue what works best here.

Excellent! Feel free to go ahead and send out the first turn. Please also screenshot your settings and post it here so we can review them and set our games to the same.

You don't have to actually play it now, just starting a new game and send initial EE and CP turns to Jinx and me.

Well, I could host myself, but I'm unable to find traffic penalty settings. I guess I have no choice but to reinstall the game from scratch *sigh*

Anyway, I copypast there the PBEM instructions from the manual, in case you need it.

EAW can be played against one or two humans opponents using PBEM or any other valid file transfer protocol, such as Instant Messaging or Dropbox™]

Hello Gentlemen.

My first message appears to not have been posted.
I'm afraid you will have to look for someone else to take my place.
Realistically, I have only until mid March to finish this game before other commitments would have interfered. I'm a little doubtful we would finish by then, and I'd hate to drop out then. I'd rather not even start.
So as much as I was excited to have a go at this game as the Eastern Entente, I think in the interest of fair play and sportsmanship, it's better if someone else joins you instead of me.

My most humble apologies.

Cheers!

Ok, Jinx, we are waiting for a third player in place of you then, unless steelwarrior has no problem with one of us playing both Western and Eastern Entente.

I wasn't careless updating to 1.02RC2 this time, so I'm able to host the game. I would then use those game settings:

I'd be interested on seeing that apparently EE is available. However, I bought the game right after its release, had a look and decided to wait until it get mature. Has it? Two other things; I won't be able to pull a turn under three or four days and may start playing no sooner than by the end of the week since I need to read the manual to see what's different here to represent WWI type of warfare correctly. Apart from that - fairly experienced player of all of the AGEOD games and a student of military history and WWI for years. Should be fun, but I am committed to lots of other things so I still need to reconsider. You too.

EE is the side which looks the most like what we have experienced in previous games, so your adaptation should go well. The game seems not far from mature, if my opinion on it has any value :)

I wouldn't trust too much the manual though, he's misleading on some points. Digging into the forum is more insightful.

Fine then. What is the requested version of the game? You have made your mind up if you accept my access by any chance? The optional rules look acceptable to me, but my version is still 1.00 so there's no traffic penalty, but that's easy to be fixed.

Ooops, seems I lack steelwarrior's email as of now. I sent the initial turnsave to burroughs anyway, I'm confident it will soon reach steelwarrior's GQG, one way or another ;)

Check your PM - you should have mine - I guess that is part of your strategy causing confusion within the Entente ;-D
