"Korrigan" has said "Solid but Unspectacular" should be rated as 3/2/2.
INMHO Anderson is the very definition of "Solid but Unspectacular." He was a good, solid division commander in the Army of Northern Virginia. His finest moment probably came at Chancellorsville, where he helped to pin a large chunk of the Army of the Potomac in place, while Jackson made his famous flank march and attack. When Longstreet was injured in 1864, he filled in adequately as leader of Longstreet's corps, proving that he could handle that level of command.
