Abner Doubleday

Doubleday No traits 3-3-3
Doubleday2 No traits 3-3-3

Looks ok to me.... 2x took the iniative at 2nd Bull Run (1st to reinforce Gibbons and leter when Gen Hatch was wounded)

Put up a tenacious defense at G-burg when in command of Reynolds Corp following Rey's death

Would have retained command if not for Meade's dislike of him, so should probably have that rank.

Overall...3-3-3 looks good to me. No special traits that I can think of... Doubleday was solid cmder, not spectacular, but certainly worth having on your side. Only suggestion would be to give him the ability to command a corps. Probably at the same ratings, see no reason to lower them.

I'd say 3|2|3. His best performance was on the defensive at Gettysburg. Possibly Artilleryman. Most of his pre-war service was in the artillery. He possibly fired the first union shot at Fort Sumter and had several artillery commands in the civil war before getting command of an infantry brigade.

No number is division, 2 means corps, 3 means army.
