Free Indians?

Tue Jun 10, 2008 7:29 pm

Have you tried moving the Cherokee indians out of the area - say to Rollo and a few turns later see the units reappear in the Indian Terr? Wonder if it'll work again?
For one grandsire stood with Henry,
On Hanover's Sacred sod,
And the other followed "Harry"
In the Light Horse' foremost squad.
And my grandsires stood together
When the foe at Yorktown fell;
"Stock" like this, against oppression
Could do naught else but REBEL.

Yes, you always get that second wave of men. They are pretty helpful in their own way.

And even a third (and fourth indian in the far north)

These indians are precious costing 0 cps if Watie leads them.... even out of his division

The ones in the Great Plains are fixed unless attacked, and the event for Union VP doesn't work properly (always fires, whether the conditions are met or not). So they pretty much get ignored, unless the Union attacks them unsuccessfully. The trick for the Union is to wait until about November, building up a force in the area under an Indian Fighter. As soon as they start taking attrition from starvation, destroy them, for some easy NM.
