Run for the hill! Rebs are everywhere

Sun Jun 08, 2008 10:49 pm

I think I have this activation setting wrong. I was doing well in my first game and after 1.10c appeared on the scene I took GShock's advice and uninstalled and reinstalled the game (note it wasn't no 10 minute job) I set the activation for the Reb at the first lowest setting and on the first turn there are reb units in upstate NY, Ill. MD and not just small ones either. I can only guess if I use the setting for activation that is marked "hard" what would happen. I am playing the Late start long game maybe I should play the Apr. start or just quite for awhile. I guess I could just put everything on easy but I feel it is a waste of my time like thinking I am some kind of dumb player (SIGH) :bonk:

thanks for letting me vent. Advise will be accepted at

Take the April 61 scenario and develop your forces slowly. The rebs are everwhere but you can beat them up if you devise a strategy. The rebs being everywhere, take out their supply sources and then attack them. U should be happy to have the rebs invade you...on defensive you're stronger!

Hi Madgamer,

I think you are on the right track.

Although, none of them would confess it today, most of our seasoned community members have begun here by asking a lot of questions and doing a lot of remarks/critics (archives are available :king: )

Now, they sit relax, enjoying their campaigns (solo or PBEM) and answering with a wise tone ot the questions of the new recruits. :p apy:

This community is the most polite and helpful I have ever worked with.

I'm confident you'll be one of these vets sooner than you expect.

Regards,

Korrigan
