Problem with N. Lyon in 1.10

Wed May 14, 2008 1:15 pm

I´m playing a PBEM game as the USA with the 1.10 patch. The St. Louis Masacre event has fired, but Lyon and his cavalry regiment haven´t appeared. Is this perhaps a bug? Do you know if is it related to the new patch?

In my experience, it's erratic. Sometimes he appears, sometimes not....

Indeed; there are designed variations in how the whole St.Louis-thing and related events play out :)

In one variation you get Lyon and Mo loyalty shifts heavily to CSA. In other, you do not get Lyon, but Mo loyalty remains strongly Union. There are advantages and disadvantages with either outcome.

I have had Lyon appearing in western Kentucky and laying seige to Columbus after Saint Louis event has fired. From CSA point of view Western Kentucky is a far more dangerous proposition?
As I have to divert troops from Nashville to deal with him should he then go for western Tennessee?

So that´s what happened. I thought that Lyon always appeared if the event fired. Thanks very much to all of you.
